About Me
Vet Nurse Nat
Hi, I’m Natalie! your friendly local Vet Nurse on wheels!
Qualified since 2015, I bring over a decade of veterinary nursing experience straight to your doorstep.
Before launching my mobile service, I spent 3 unforgettable years deep in the Amazon jungle, rescuing wildlife from the illegal pet trade. Back in Melbourne, I’ve worked in trusted local vet clinics, building hands-on expertise with cats, dogs, and bunny rabbits.
Now, I offer home visiting vet nurse services so your pets can receive gentle, professional care without the stress of a clinic visit.
Whether it’s nail trims, ear cleans, or anal gland expression, why make a trip to the vet?
Stress less. Let Vet Nurse Nat come to you!
I also provide tailored wound care and medication assistance, designed to suit each pet’s individual needs.
Servicing Inner South East Melbourne, I’d love to help keep your furry family members feeling their best.

It depends!
Some animals are more comfortable in their own home rather than in a vet clinic.
However, unfortunately some animals dislike having their nails cut so much that it is not possible for me to do.
The safety of everyone is my top priority. I am able to try, but cannot make any guarantees.
I am always happy to discuss options
Maintaining a routine of claw trimming every 6-8 weeks contributes to keeping your pet healthy.
It’s time for a kitty nail trim when their claws are long, curved and razor sharp! Cats may attempt to alleviate this issue by sharpening their claws on items like your sofa, carpet, or curtains.
A clear indication that your dog’s nails are too long is the audible clicking sound they make when walking on hard surfaces. Waiting too long between trimmings can lead to various health issues for animals, potentially causing arthritis and ongoing pain and discomfort.
